It combines both a process of losing weight as a method of purification. According to proponents, this treatment eliminates toxins caused by our poor diet, stress and pollution. These toxins increase the storage of fat while slowing its elimination. This treatment is simple: eat fruit during a short period, often two to seven consecutive days. The cure may be followed several weeks later, but with a few days break. What characterizes this regime is a contribution in insufficient nutrients. In fact, the brain needs a minimum of 120 grams of carbs per day to operate, which is equivalent to eight whole fruit or four cups of fruit. Below this amount, our bodies begin to dip into its glycogen reserves. Protein intake is zero, the body will seek its reserves: the muscles. Fat from fat cells will then be degraded, resulting in formation of ketone bodies harmful to health. The cleansing effect associated with this type of diet is a myth. For weight, this technique may create more of a yo-yo effect, or loss, then recovery lost weight when will resume normal feeding.
The Cookie Diet
created by Dr. Siegal in 1975, this scheme has now some Branches in Montreal. In this scheme, only one meal per day is allowed with 150 g (6 oz) lean meat, poultry, fish or seafood and 250 ml (1 cup) of vegetables. It completes the meal by eating biscuits made at up to six developed by the company per day. The total calories for the day is around 800 to 1000 calories, depending on desired weight loss. The designer ensures that the mixture of amino acids of its biscuits cut hunger. The daily carbohydrate intake of 70 g total diet, which is clearly insufficient. Diets quick weight loss like this often lead to long-term, compulsive eating disorders. This low-calorie diet creates bad habits by encouraging consumption of biscuits to silence hunger. It does not teach the keys to a healthy diet and it causes a disturbance in the rhythm of the meal.
regime range
That trend is putting a system on the instrument rather than the contents of the plate. The plan is to eat only foods that are eaten with a fork, especially for dinner. It is forbidden to use a spoon, knife, or even fingers. The use of the range allows you to filter and sauces to exclude foods such as calorie burgers, nuts, chips, cookies and sandwiches, for example. It is predicated on the widespread myth that wanting the evening meal is the one that best promotes fat storage. There is no learning about good eating habits to adopt, such as increased consumption of fruits and vegetables and adequate consumption of dairy products or substitutes. Even some healthy foods that will be set aside, such as nuts, seeds and yogurt. Less damaging than previous regimes, has fewer nutritional deficiencies.
